Niagara Falls police investigating body found in Cayuga Creek

Niagara Falls police are investigating after a man’s body was recovered from Cayuga Creek early Friday evening.
The body was located in the creek in the 8700 block of Buffalo Avenue by a detective during an ongoing investigation.
The Niagara Falls Fire Department was called to assist police with removing the deceased from the water around 6:10 p.m. on Friday.
There was no additional information Friday night. The incident remains under investigation by police.
