The there are basically four tiers of contending NFL teams in 2024
Tier one … true Super Bowl contenders: Kansas City, Detroit and Baltimore.
Tier two … Close, but don’t trust yet: Buffalo, Philadelpia
Tier three … Nope, not yet: Pittsburgh, Minnesota, Washington, San Francisco
Tier four … Show me more: Arizona, Green Bay, Houston.
That’s 12 teams, but really only five that I believe could win the Super Bowl. Teams like the Steelers, Vikes, et. al just aren’t ready for prime time.
There really isn’t a surprising team among the top five while the rest could win or lose every game they play the rest of the season.
There.
Those are the teams, in those top two tiers, that are going to be playing in New Orleans in Feburary.
As for Week 10, which is Week 1 of the “Camo” weeks,
I had only eight winners out of 13 — it was a tough week with so many low point spreads.
All Camo T-shirt winners were within one point of the Patriots point total (19), the first breaker. The second tiebreaker, amount of correct picks (most had 10 or more), was also used.
PLEASE NOTE: The Camo T-shirts won’t be available until Friday at the earliest at the newspaper offices.
