Winter weather got you down?
Maybe planning for this year’s baseball season will help you feel a bit more hopeful.
The Niagara Falls Americans announced the availability of tickets for the upcoming season, which kicks off on June 5 at Sal Maglie Stadium in Niagara Falls.
The Americans, who play in the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League, will be celebrating their third season at the recently revamped Sal Maglie Stadium at Hyde Park. The city stadium underwent several upgrades during the offseason, including the installation of a new digital scoreboard and sound system, as well as a new electronic message board off Hyde Park Boulevard. The stadium hosted more than 135 events last year, including the East Coast Conference baseball tournament and high school baseball playoffs.
“The City of Niagara Falls and Mayor Robert Restaino have done nothing but make life easier to get Sal Maglie Stadium back to life since we took over the venue,” said Americans’ owner Robbie Nichols. “The improvements keep coming and they are paying off not just from our attendance for the Americans either.”
Last season, the Americans clinched their first-ever playoff berth in just their second season. The Americans fell short of the West Division Championship round, losing to the Jamestown Tarp Skunks.
For the 2026 season, the Americans will host their first “Education Day Game” on June 11 as they take on the Niagara Canada Ironbacks. Local schools are invited out for day of education, fun and baseball. To register or get more information, school officials are asked to email general manager Marc Witt at mwitt.canusa@gmail.com.
More information about the team can be found on the Americans’ social media pages. The full 2026 schedule is available at www.niagarafallsamericans.com. Season tickets start at $99 and are available by visiting www.niagarafallsamericans.com.
