NEWBURYPORT — The Newburyport Farmers’ Market returns for another season starting Sunday, May 5, at 9 a.m. at the Tannery Marketplace in Newburyport.
The market, which runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. will have many of the community favorite farms from past years: High Road Farm will bring eggs, veggies and herbs. Singing Brook Farm will offer local grown, fresh cut flowers, T.H.E. Farm will offer beyond organic micro greens, garlic and vegetables. Farmer Dave and Heron Pond Farm will be offering sustainably grown vegetables to market, and will accept SNAP/EBT cards with the HIP match.
Essex County Mushrooms will be offering locally grown organic mushrooms. Terra D’ Amuri will be offering handmade arrincine. The Healthy Nut is bringing healthy protein balls in many flavors. Amore D Pasta will be bringing small batch, hand made pasta, Vegan Curious will offer gluten free vegan bake goods and Oli Cakes will offer cupcakes and other baked goods.
Market favorites Rosita’s Cocina, Cookie Jar Kitchen, A & J Bakery and Karimah’s Kitchen will also be there.
Lee Biddle will kick off the summer season on Saturday, with a mix of Americana and Nashville inspired tunes.
