NEWBURYPORT — Newburyport Art announces its next exhibition, “10 x 10 Small Works”, from Friday through July 23.
This show displays art pieces that are no larger or less than 10” x 10” in dimension, framed and unframed. The artwork may be small but it is big on creativity using various mediums, all featured in the Sargent Gallery on the first floor.
This exhibition coincides with Newburyport Art’s Watercolor Featured Interest Group Show on the first floor in the Hills Gallery, sharing its opening reception on Saturday, from 4 to 6 p.m. All are welcome to attend, where and when many of the exhibited artists are present. Light refreshments will be served.
NAA has three galleries that are free and open to the public Tuesday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from 1 to 5pm. The building is closed on Mondays, however, the NAA Sculpture Garden found behind it, welcomes visitors year-round.
The attached yellow building containing the Hills Gallery has a separate entrance with easier accessibility. More information as well as an online exhibition gallery to view and purchase from, is available at newburyportart.org.
Founded in 1948, Newburyport Art is dedicated to promoting and exhibiting members’ work and to providing art education and access to the visual arts for the entire community.
