— The city of Dalton’s offices and non-emergency services will be closed on Wednesday, Jan. 1, in observance of the New Year’s Day holiday.
There will be no garbage and recycling collection that day. Homes usually serviced on Wednesdays will have their garbage and recycling collected on Thursday, Jan. 2. The rest of the week’s collections will take place as usual.
— The Creative Arts Guild is closed and will reopen on Monday, Jan. 6.
