COURTLAND — A 29-year-old New Ulm woman was killed and a 21-year-old Fairmont man suffered non-life-threatening injuries Wednesday morning when two vehicles collided on Highway 15 in Brown County.
Driving a 2016 Jeep Compass southbound, Guadalupe Maria Miramontes died following a collision with a northbound 2019 Ford F-250 driven by Hunter David Grathwohl, according to the State Patrol report. Grathwohl was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash was reported around 5:30 a.m. near mile marker 50 in Cottonwood Township, southwest of Courtland. Both drivers were reportedly wearing seat belts and the roadway was dry at the time of the crash.
