CUMBERLAND — The Allegany County Library System is reminding patrons that a new schedule of operating hours takes effect Aug. 3 at the Frostburg, South Cumberland, Washington Street, George’s Creek and Westernport branches.

Wednesday–Thursday: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Friday: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Closed: Saturday, Sunday

Wednesday–Thursday: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

New hours at the LaVale Library took effect July 6. It’s open Mondays and Tuesdays from noon to 7 p.m., Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. It’s closed Fridays and Sunday.
