The Pinkerton Academy senior won three individual races and was part of a first place relay team during Saturday’s New Hampshire Weekly Division I Track Meet held at Phillips Exeter.
Morrison took home the 55-meter dash (6.54), the 300 (36.21) and 55-meter hurdles (7.75) titles and then joined Caden Michaud, Zackary Smith and Braydon Parker to take the 4×200 relay with a combined time of 1:32.83.
Other first places came from Nathan Binda in the 600 (1:26.14) and then he joined Aiden Dowd, Smith and Cody Santomassimo to win the 4×400 relay race with a combined time of 3:37.99.
Second places were earned by Travis Cavallo in the 55-meter dash (6.58), Finn Christensen-Kraft in the 1,500 meters (4:11.41), John Child in the 55-meter hurdles (8.02), Jason Robie in the 3,000 meters (9:37.22), Joseph Packowski in the shot put (47-07.75) and Michaud in the long jump (20-08.50).
Finally, third places were taken by Dowd in the 600 (1:26.68) and Jason Rzasa in the 1,500 (4:13.20).
On the female side, the team of Sarah Rzasa, Parker Knowlton, Isabelle Groulx and Contessa Silva won the 4×800 relay race with a collective time of 9:40.69. Pinkerton also swept the 3,000 meters behind the efforts of Silva (10:31.50), Groulx (10:52.23) and Susannah Folsom (10:55.75).
Taylor Nastasi was second in the high jump clearing 5-8. Rzasa added a third in the 600 (1:43.45) and then both the 4×200 and 4×400 relay teams also finished third. The 4×200 team consisted of Eva Roberts, Aislinn Sprague, Nora Brayall and Hannah Sippel and they came in at 1:52.18 and then the 4×400 team was made up of Camryn McNulty, Knowlton and Isabella and Hannah Sippel and they came in at 4:18.72.
Windham & Salem
Both the Windham and Salem Boys teams competed in the afternoon meet held at UNH. Kevin Brooks had his usual terrific day which included first places in the 55-meter dash (6.53) and 300 (36.64). He also joined up with Christopher Dukas, Cameron Williams and Jack Tomasek to take second in the 4×400 with a combined time of 3:44.96.
Williams was also second in the high jump (5-8) and the 4×800 relay team of John Atilano, Brad Smith, David Sader and Samuel Becht finished third with a time of 9:15.59.
For Salem, they were led by the individual performances of Evan Spence, who was second in the 1,000 (2:44.89), Benjamin Lagrasse, who was second in the 1,500 (4:18.27) and Jackson Gannon, who was third in the 1,000 (2:44.94).
On the girls’ side, Windham had just two top place finishers as Katherine Klinger won the 1,500 in 5:01.08 and Kelly Wright finished third in the shot put throwing 30-10.25.
Salem had three third places with Lia Faulkner in the 1,000 (3:19.64) and Lily Thomas in the 1,500 (5:21.08) and then the 4×160 relay team behind Jenny Olson, Avery Aliberti, Leanny Ortiz-Blanco and Fareedah Adisun, who came in at 1:27.54.
Pelham
The Pythons competed in the Division II morning meet held at UNH. Colby Crear led the highlights as he was first in the 55-meter hurdles in 8.13 seconds and then he joined Ryan LaPlant, Gavin Drouin and Rahim Afzal to finish third in the 4×400 relay with a combined time of 3:48.50.
On the girls’ side, Reese Nicolosi finished third in the 55-meter hurdles with a time of 9.40 seconds.
