DANVILLE — The City of Danville announced on Monday the closures of National Avenue and Nicklas Avenue.
According to a release, both National and Nicklas will be closed beginning on Tuesday, Sept. 1 between Main Street and Williams Street for sanitary sewer manhole placement.
The work is expected to take approximately 4 days, so the roadways should be open to all traffic at the end of the day on Friday, Sept. 4, weather permitting.
During construction, motorist should use alternate routes.
