LAKE PLACID — NAC walked away with a sweep in tennis Thursday against Lake Placid.
The Bombers didn’t go quietly. In both the boys’ and girls’ matches, they earned at least one point.
In a 4-1 victory for the Bobcat boys, Kacy Hatch got things started with a win in the No. 1 singles match.
Lake Placid’s Ian Munson needed three sets to defeat NAC’s Reid Smtih in the No. 2 singles match. Scores went 3-6, 6-4, 6-2.
The doubles matches went all Bobcat, starting with the No. 1 team of Shane Gilmore and Kameron Chinchilla. Brycen LaBombard and Jake Manor won the No. 2 doubles as Milo Wilson and Corbin Damour won the No. 3 match.
On the girls’ side, the Bombers’ points came from the singles matches, but the doubles went to NAC in a 3-2 victory.
In singles play, Raquel Arreaza and Fiona Sullivan won the No. 1 and No. 2 singles, respectively.
But the doubles went to NAC with Lauren Decosse and Kenna Labarre, Bella Labombard and Abby Brooks, and Em Myers and Kinsley winning the matches.
