ELLENBURG — Northern Adirondack wrestlers recorded five wins by fall on Wednesday night and edged out a 39-36 victory over Beekmantown in Champlain Valley Athletic Conference mat action.
Jackson LaBarge (108 pounds), Hayden Bartlemus (116), Reece LaBarge (124), Owen Smith (131) and Trent Snide-Haselton (215) all won with pins for the Bobcats.
Trey Mcgee (190) was a winner by decision for NAC, which also won a match by forfeit.
The Eagles got pins from Jacob Lagree (138), Jacob Magiera (152) and Lazaro Herrera (285), while Beekmantown also won at 145, 160 and 170 via the forfeit route.
“It was a close match,” NAC coach Brad Trombley said. “Both teams wrestled well.”
