Several incumbent county officials were unseated by challengers in the Cumberland County General Election.
Cumberland County Road Superintendent Republican challenger Kevin Music unseated independent, incumbent Stanley Hall during Thursday night’s Cumberland County General Election.
Unofficial votes were Music — 7,480; Hall, 5,120.
Other incumbents unseated include county commissioners Darrell Threet, 3rd District, who was unseated by Republican Craig Clark; and 8th District Commissioner, Deborah Holbrook, Democrat, was unseated by Republican Keith Burgess, Jr.
Nick Davis, 5th District School Board independent incumbent was unseated by Chris Seals, Republican. Jon Matthews, 7th District School Board independent incumbent was unseated by Republican challenger Blair Woodcock.
