MANKATO — Minnesota State men’s hockey player Sam Morton was named to the All-CCHA first-team, while Evan Murr was selected to the second-team, the league announced Monday.
Morton, a senior forward, ranks first in the CCHA with 24 goals this season. He ranks fourth in the league with 35 points (24-10—34) and is first with 754 faceoff wins.
Murr, a freshman defenseman, was also named the CCHA All-Rookie team. He led all CCHA defenders with 18 points in league games and ranks second on MSU with 27 points (6-21—27) in 36 total games.
