Mississippi State University’s Meridian campuses will operate under a normal schedule as the university monitors the weather ahead of Hurricane Francine.
In a news release, MSU said both its Starkville and Meridian campuses will be open Wednesday and Thursday under the current conditions.
The MSU Engineering satellite, which is based at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, will follow MGCCC’s guidance and be closed Wednesday.
MSU officials said they are continuing to monitor the weather and will announce any further scheduling changes if needed.
Students are encouraged to monitor the university’s website at msstate.edu or sign up for alerts through the maroon alert system for more information.
