NEWBURYPORT — Coffee, cider, donuts and plenty of ideas will be on hand Saturday, Oct. 10, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Moseley Woods Pavilion for what is being billed as a Moseley Woods Community Forum.
Attendees are encouraged to share their ideas, memories and hopes for the city’s third largest park during this free gathering.
Moseley Woods was a topic of conversation during an August Parks Commission meeting with Ward 6 Councilor Mary DeLai, who represents the area, discussing her ideas for the park’s immediate and long-term future.
“We would like to see a comprehensive plan for the annual maintenance and operations of the park, but also a Moseley Woods Park improvement plan,” she said, back in August.
Around the same time, Mayor Sean Reardon said Moseley Woods was the “next park on my list” when it comes to improvements.
