It’s been a one sided contest when the Vikings and Sentinels come together this season, as Moriah won both contests.
The Vikings won by 10 points, 60-50, at Ti on Dec. 28. It was followed with a 74-38 victory earlier this month.
But, to get to this point, both schools had their work cut out for them. Moriah hosted Lake Placid, while Ti traveled to NAC.
With their wins, the Vikings and Sentinels are set to clash Saturday at 5:30 p.m. at CCC.
In Class A, all signs point to a showdown with Plattsburgh. #2 seed Beekmantown which hosted #3 Peru, split the series with the Hornets.
The rubber match is set for 7:30 p.m., Saturday following the Class C game.

#1 MORIAH 60
#4 LAKE PLACID 30
MORIAH — It took time for the Vikings to find their game, but when they did, all bets were off.
Cooper Allen led Moriah with a double double of 26 points and 13 rebounds with Jake Mascarenas adding 11.
Wyatt Whitman and Joe Pelkey had solid all-around games, not just scoring but getting the team involved. Whitman and Pelkey both finished with six rebounds and four assists.
Landen Brassard added eight rebounds.
Lake Placid was led by Seb Cecunjanin as he finished with 20 points.
We started out a little slow tonight but found our game halfway through the first quarter,” Moriah head coach Don Tesar Jr said. “Once we found our game, we were able to control the tempo, boards, and the defensive side of the floor.
“We had good ball movement and used the extra pass for good shots.”

#2 NORTHERN ADIRONDACK 41
ELLENBURG — Both teams gave it their all in a back-and-forth contest that Ticonderoga excelled in when it mattered in a 48-41 victory over NAC.
It was a close contest that neither team could grab a lead until the fourth quarter when the Sentinels made more baskets to grab the lead for good.
Ti held a two point lead at halftime at 2018, but NAC would tie things up heading into the decisive fourth. Brady Mydlarz had 10 of his 12 points in the fourth quarter, including 5-6 from the free throw line to seal the victory.
Jackson Dorsett led all scorers with 14 points as Jordan Brown added 11.
Emmett LeClair and Kingston Tucker led the Bobcats with 12 and 10 points respectively.
“Really proud of how our guys stuck together and persevered through our tough stretches of poor shooting,” Ticonderoga head coach Joe Defayette said. “We competed for loose balls better than we have, and rebounds better in the second half and that led to us getting the win.”

BEEKMANTOWN 48
PERU 30
BEEKMANTOWN — Beekmantown had a 10 point lead heading into third quarter, and Peru made things interesting.
The Nighthawks scored more points in that quarter (17) than they scored in the rest of the game (13) in a 48-30 Class A semifinal win for Beekmantown.
Leo Williams led the Eagles with 13 points as Steven Bronson added nine in the winning effort.
Peru was led by Jordan Osborne’s nine.
“I was proud of our defensive effort with the exception of the third quarter,” Beekmantown head coach Ryan Converse said. “We had some communication breakdowns during the third that led to open looks for them.
“Offensively, we were a little stagnant in the first half, but I thought we did a good job of attacking late to close the game out. Peru’s kids worked really hard and never gave up.”
