Watching its 11-7 fourth-quarter lead evaporate, Central Catholic put the ball in Caden Smith’s hands and let the junior go to work.
Smith broke the tie with the game winner as only seven seconds showed on the clock. Brennan Holt had five goals in the win, and Cal Schoenfeld chipped in three. Joe Buchanan won 23 of 27 draws, and Maddox Moscardini had 16 saves in net.
Bedford 16, Windham 5
Sam Kramer had two goals and two assists for the Jags. Josh Trudel, Evan Ardizzone and Tyler DellOrfano also scored.
Baseball
Pinkerton 8, Timberlane 3
Hunter Brasier had three hits and drove in three runs for the winners. Hayden Marshall singled and tripled, knocking in a pair. Kason Plasse singled, scored twice and added two RBIs.
Frankie Carrasquillo singled and doubled with two RBIs, and Mike Santosuosso doubled for the Owls who managed just three hits, facing four different Astro pitchers.
Andover 17, Lowell 5
Kyle Olson picked up his third win of the year on the mound, and helped pace a 15-hit Andover offensive barrage with two singles and a double. Ryan Cardillo homered and drove in four. Cardillo, Luke Solomon and Max Su had two hits apiece.
Dracut 11, Central Catholic 1
Anthony Polichetti doubled and scored the lone Raider run with an RBI to Nick Burgess.
Phillips 12, Brooks 8
Mikah Krystofolski had two hits, two steals, two runs and drove in three runs for the winners. He also worked a pair of innings in relief, striking out five for the save. For Brooks, Kyle Derderian drove in four on a pair of hits. James Sullivan had three hits, including an RBI double.
Methuen 14, Tewksbury 4
Three different Rangers combined to limit the Redmen to one hit on the day with Julius Soto earning the shutout win for his three shutout innings. Freshman Jack Harper had a monster day with three doubles, scoring three runs and driving in five. Jeyvien Deleon was three for four and scored five times. Alex Santiago had two hits and drove in two.
North Andover 5, Lawrence 4
The Knights scored twice in the sixth and twice in the seventh to came back and win. Trey Martin and Joe Dorsey each drove in a pair of runs for the winners. Braydon Salach was huge at the top of the lineup with a pair of hits and two runs scored. Martin picked up the win on the mound with six innings of eight-hit ball. He fanned four.
Jayden Minaya struck out 10 and didn’t allow an earned run over six innings for the Lancers. Kewdy Ceballos and Jeremy Veloz had two hits apiece.
Bishop Guertin 12, Salem 0
Anthony Angelari had a pair of hits for the 2-6 Blue Devils.
Windham 13, Goffstown 6
Eddie Charity (4 RBIs) and Vince Folco (2 RBIs) paced the 15-hit Jaguar attack with three hits apiece. Joe Coviello, Aiden Theriault and Ben Urquhart had two hits each.

Methuen 8, Tewksbury 3
Freshman Delaney D’hondt picked up the win, striking out nine. Melany Reyes powered the Ranger attack with three hits and a pair of RBIs. Adriana Delaney added two hits and drove in three. Sam Chalupa, Gianna Guey and Addy Campbell had two his apiece for the 5-5 Rangers.
Lebanon 3, Pelham 0
Caileigh Aguiar had 11 strikeouts in the circle, but the Pythons managed only hits by Kacey Normandie and Phemi Kerrigan. Joelle Lobuono was a defensive standout.
Central Catholic 22, Dracut 1
The Raiders piled up the offense, led by Chloe Salerno, who blasted a grand slam and a three-run homer in an eight-RBI day. Emily Goc had four hits. Deja Calderon and Meg Maresca had three hits apiece, and Stella Clements homered.
Haverhill 16, Masconomet 4
Bella Libucha earned the win with some relief help from Ava Moscaritolo. The Hillies finished with 18 hits. Gianna Pistone and Libucha each had three, while Moscaritolo, Avery Borden, Brookelyn Blais, Reece Favalora and Gabriella Kirby added two apiece.
Pinkerton 6, Timberlane 1
Julia Caruso struck out 10 in the three-hit win for the 7-0 Astros. Samantha Harrington had two hits and drove in two runs to lead the offense. Rylee O’Connor tripled, and Sydney Battis drove in the Timberlane run.
Windham 7, Goffstown 3
Freshman Colbie Cushman owned the diamond for the Jags. Cushman struck out six in the complete-game win. Offensively, she smacked a pair of home runs and drove in five runs. Corynne Roy had three hits, while Ella Wilkins and Lily Carballeira had two apiece. Siena Gattinella played a strong defensive game.

Andover 5, Chelmsford 0
Sam Gomer, Kian Keyhan and Ryan Furlong were sharp in singles for the Warriors. Matt Wang and Ricky Tran teamed up for a shutout at first doubles, while Nikhil Chada and Alex Arcidiacono teamed up at No. 2.

Ella Duffy scored the win at third singles, while the doubles teams of Emma Ripley-Haiquis Dominguez and Emily Barbosa-Brooklyn Chevalier delivered the match win for the Rangers.

The Warriors moved to 9-0 behind singles wins from Ishwa Dharan, Caitlyn Croll and Claire Zhang. Elizabeth Vetzez-Raja Kareklas and Celeste Miner-Liz Cortez were the winning teams in doubles.

Haley Wolters, Morgan Bateman and Ella Asmar won in straight sets for singles, while Ella Gregorio-Milena Mataac and Bella Chavez-Melissa Sampaio Araujo took care of business in doubles.

Keerthana Suresh, Kayla Pham and Emma Roshi swept the singles for the Knights. Morgan Cordaro-Madi Hansberry and Mafer Ramos-Tiffany Nguyen scored the doubles victories.

Katie Wood netted both Blue Devils’ goals. Olivia Schoenrock made a dozen saves in net for Salem.

Amelia Hawkins led the 6-2 winners with three goals. Alanna Alden, Jeddia Maracle and Abby Roderick added two apiece.

Sookie Folsom scored twice, while Parker Knowlton and Delaney Summers added single goals in the loss for the 3-3 Astros.

Cait Driscoll netted six goals for the winners. Sloan Hayden was huge on draws. Ella Phillips stopped 14 shots in the win.
