Milke receives recognition for saving a fellow classmates’ life

Kash Milke, of North Cumberland Elementary School, saved his classmate’s life. Milke was recognized for his “exceptional courage and quick thinking when another student was choking” at the March Cumberland County Board of Education meeting. Marsha Polson, the school nurse coordinator and coordinated school health, who gave the recognition said Milke was a “real life hero.”
