Methuen celebrated Independence Day on Saturday with fun activities and fireworks in the sky above The Loop at 90 Pleasant Valley St.
The free family event began at 5:30 p.m. with live music, various entertainment, food trucks and activities for children throughout the evening and the fireworks beginning about 9:30.
