Thanksgiving is almost here, and the City of Meridian and Waste Pro are working to educate residents about holiday changes to the garbage collection schedule.
Residents who have their garbage picked up on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday will not be impacted by the holiday hours.
Waste Pro will be closed for Thanksgiving and no trash pickup will be held Thursday. Instead, residents with Thursday pickup will have their garbage collected Friday, Nov. 24, and those with Friday pickup will be pushed to Saturday, Nov. 25.
