A Meridian teenager died Friday following a crash last week on Highway 19 involving several vehicles, Meridian Police Department announced Saturday.
The crash, which took place on Wednesday, Oct. 30, near Truckers Supply, involved a total of five vehicles, MPD said.
In a news release, Acting Captain Dareall Jackson said Jeremiah Ragsdale, 19, died at a Jackson hospital after being airlifted from Meridian. He graduated from Meridian High School earlier this year.
“The Meridian Police Department would like to express condolences to the Ragsdale Family,” Thompson said.
The crash remains under investigation.
