MANKATO — The Minnesota chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness will visit Mankato on Tuesday as part of a statewide listening tour.
Also known as NAMI, the organization also has visits planned in Duluth, Grand Rapids, Northfield, St. Cloud and Alexandria. Mankato will be NAMI’s first stop.
The event will be held from 6-7:30 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, 110 Fourth St.
NAMI plans to update attendees on developments in mental health from the last legislative session plus hear perspectives from area residents. Input gathered during the listening sessions could help shape NAMI’s policy goals, according to an announcement on the organization’s website.
