DANVILLE — In front of the biggest crowd of the NJCAA Division II National Tournament, the host Danville Area Community College did not disappoint.
The No. 7 Jaguars were able to defeat No. 10 Mid-Michigan 85-68 on Tuesday to advance to Wednesday’s quarterfinals.
Jeremy Wilson had 25 points and 13 rebounds to lead the Jaguars, while Blake Reed came off the bench to score 17 points, DeShawn Clark had 14 points with two steals and Jordan Dickson had 13 points with seven rebounds and six assists.
Zack Parks had 25 points to lead the Lakers, while Amonti Green had 23 points. Mid Michigan is now 25-6 and will play in the consolation bracket on Thursday.
The Jaguars are 26-4 and will play either Palm Beach State or SUNY-Orange County in Wednesday’s semifinals at 8 p.m.
