In keeping with the commitment the Fairfield Glade Community Club board of directors has recently made to address members’ transparency concerns, the member strategic plan survey comments are now available online.
Visit www.fairfieldgladeresort.com and go to Member Login to access the comments.
Members no longer need to visit the Administration office in person to read them.
FGCC hired Private Club Associates, to assist with the strategic plan.
PCA conducted the member survey, and its representatives said they rely on the quantitative measurable data when making decisions for their own clubs and for recommending goals and strategies for clients, including Fairfield Glade.
The primary source for conclusions is the survey (quantified) data.
“Individual comments are not and should not be used to draw conclusions,” PCA officials noted. “The survey comments (qualified data) are used to ratify the quantified data conclusions and to suggest other areas to probe.
PCA explained the survey results are divided into two primary categories: quantitative data and qualitative data. The member comments constitute the qualitative data; the survey charts and tables constitute the quantitative data.
“Quantitative data refers to any information that can be quantified, counted or measured, and given a numerical value,” PCA said. “Qualitative data is descriptive in nature, expressed in terms of language rather than numerical values and focuses on the ‘why’ behind the numbers.”
