The Cumberland County Republican Women’s Club meeting on April 2 will focus on county candidates whose names will appear on the ballot in the May 5 primary. Early voting will be April 15-30.
Each candidate will be offered a 3- to 4-minute opportunity to speak about their background and highlight their positions.
“All conservative American women are invited to attend and join. We welcome all who are interested in learning more about how to participate in this great American experiment by joining in the local GOP women’s group,” said President Vicky Arida.
“Our spring membership drive is currently underway and is $35 annually. The interim elections are upon us and we have a variety of events coming up. Please join us.”
Unless otherwise specified, Cumberland County Republican Women meet the first Thursday of the month, at Tennessee College of Applied Technology at 910 Miller Ave. Doors open at 5 p.m., meetings are from 5:30-6:45.
