The university wrote “McAlpine was perfect once again this weekend, recording two shutouts which were tied for the most in the NSIC. She is now up to 13 shutouts this season, which is tied for the most in Division II. Against MSU Moorhead, she made one save in a 5-0 win, and she followed that up with a four save shutout in a 7-0 win over Minnesota Crookston.”
They added “the Shoreview, Minn. native continues to be one of the best goalkeepers in the NSIC and in all of Division II, while leading the Mavericks to a 13-1-1 record, including a 10-1-1 record in the NSIC.”
The Mavericks will be on the road this weekend, where they will face Wayne State at 3 p.m. Friday and Augustana at 1 p.m. Sunday.
