MOULTRIE — On Saturday, Nov. 11, Nehemiah Masonic Lodge #128 and the Order of Eastern Star Queen Esther Chapter #67, held their annual “Feeding the Community Event” at the 50 Yard Line restaurant.
Worthy Matron Sheila Jackson described the event as “a huge success.” It gave the brothers and sisters of Masonry another opportunity to be of service and give back to the community, Jackson said.
The organization served more than 150 people a traditional Southern Thanksgiving meal, complete with drinks and desserts. School supplies and winter clothing were also distributed to the public.
Jackson expressed appreciation for the community’s support and contributions.
