PORT HENRY — Alexis Mascarenas scored with just 2:15 remaining in regulation on Friday to lift Moriah to a 2-1 victory over Boquet Valley in Northern Soccer League Division II action.
The Griffins took a 1-0 lead just 5:20 into the game on Claire Reynolds’ goal.
But midway through the first half, at the 20:03 mark, Mascarenas tallied her first of two goals to bring the Vikings even.
Moriah held a 16-3 advantage in shots on goal, with Madelyn Eichen making two saves for the Vikings and Ella Pulsifer 11 stops for Boquet Valley.

PLATTSBURGH — Amaya Abellard accounted for three goals and one assist in the Hornets’ Division I win.
Bailey Hewson added a goal and assist for PHS, which jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first half.
“It was our senior game and we got great contributions from seniors Morgan Hall, Jade Hayford and Bailey Hewson,” PHS coach Tim Mulligan said.
Maddie Arno and Callie Racine scored second-half goals for the Cougars.

Both teams took six shots on goal. Hallie Gilmore recorded the shutout with six saves and Keirra Bechard made five stops for Ticonderoga.

JOHNSBURG — Emma Jacques and Laney Nolette scored second-half goals to give the Wolves a Division III win.
Jacques opened the scoring 15:25 into the second and Nolette added an insurance goal with 2:59 left in regulation.
Peyton Leerkes needed to make just two saves for the shutout and Lucia Williams turned away shots for the Irish Jaguars.
