Elisabeth Markley is the new University of Tennessee CIS solutions consultant serving manufacturers across Middle Tennessee and the Upper Cumberland Region through the Tennessee Manufacturing Extension Partnership (TMEP).
Markley brings more than 10 years of experience in manufacturing, quality management, and business improvement. Her background includes quality management systems, operational improvement, compliance, process development, supplier quality, workforce development, and continuous improvement.
Throughout her career, she has worked extensively with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949, as well as internal auditing, corrective and preventive action, KPIs, employee training, and process improvement. In her new role with UT CIS, Markley will work directly with manufacturers throughout Middle Tennessee and the Upper Cumberland to understand their needs, identify opportunities, and connect them with the right resources and expertise.

A Tennessee native, Markley has a strong appreciation for the people, communities, and manufacturing heritage across the state. She is looking forward to getting to know the manufacturers in her region.
