MANTON — Manton junior Aubrey Hiller earned Division 3 first-team all-state honors from the Michigan Sports Writers.
McBain senior Peyton Grant was voted onto the second team.
Hiller averaged 23.5 points per game, the most of any girls basketball player in northwest Lower Michigan. She also contributed 7.1 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 5.2 steals per game.
Grant led McBain to an undefeated 20-0 regular season, a Highland Conference championship and a 21-1 overall mark. She averaged 13.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 3.0 steals per game.
Player of the Year in D3 went to Jackson Lumen Christi’s Kenna Hunt, while Coach of the Year was Saugatuck’s Kevin Tringali.
The team was selected by a statewide panel of 13 sportswriters, with the top 10 vote-getters (plus ties) earning first team all-state. The Division 2 team is scheduled for release Wednesday and Division 1 on Thursday.
