LE CENTER — A man accused of methamphetamine sales in Blue Earth County now faces similar charges in Le Sueur County.
Adam Samuel Danberry, 37, of Mankato, was charged with felonies for second-degree sale of a controlled substance and third-degree possession of a controlled substance Monday in Le Sueur County District Court.
Danberry was previously charged with drug sales and possession in Blue Earth County in March 2023 related to an incident in which investigators reported finding meth in his vehicle. He has a sentencing in the case scheduled for Nov. 4.
The latest charges against him also date back to 2023. A criminal complaint states the Minnesota River Valley Drug Task Force organized a controlled buy from Danberry in Kasota using a confidential reliable informant.
Danberry reportedly had the informant meet him in Kasota, where the two stopped at a residence. Danberry allegedly walked to the residence, returned to the vehicle and handed the informant 11.4 grams of meth in exchange for $300.
An initial appearance for Danberry’s Le Sueur County case is set for Oct. 15.
