MANKATO — Mankato officials have declared a snow emergency to allow crews to efficiently remove the accumulation on city streets from this weekend’s storm.
Vehicle parking restrictions will be in affect between 8 p.m. Sunday and 8 a.m. Monday. Parking will be allowed in specific areas alongside streets where seasonal parking signs are posted.
Free vehicle parking will be provided in the Mankato Place and Civic Center ramps during the snow emergency and vehicles may be parked in residents’ yards.
