The Mankato MoonDogs couldn’t muster a breakthrough rally in a 14-5 road loss to the St. Cloud Rox Monday.
Marvin Montenegro finished 3 for 5 with a home run and two RBIs. Caleb Barnett ripped a solo home run.
Kaeden Guida took the loss, allowing three earned runs off three hits and three walks, earning two outs in the first inning before being pulled. Michael Schulte allowed four runs (three earned) off four hits and four walks with three strikeouts in 5 1/3 innings of relief.
