WASECA — A man would have a violent threats conviction in Waseca County reduced from a felony to a misdemeanor upon completion of probation.
Daniel Patrick Tovo Jr., 51, of St. Augusta, was convicted on the charge Tuesday in Waseca County District Court. He had two second-degree assault charges and a domestic assault charge dismissed.
Tovo’s case stems from an October incident in which a woman accused him of pointing a gun at her in Waldorf.
He served two days in jail afterward, the credit for which means he won’t serve additional jail time. His supervised probation period is set for two years.
