A man who told police he is homeless is charged with felony vandalism after it was alleged he damaged several vehicles at a local car dealer last Oct. 8
Sean Kayne Weaver, 38, no address available, is charged with vandalism of more than $10,000 in connection with the incident at the Blue Bird Motors shop on West Ave., according to Sgt. Keith Sadula’s report.
The incident was reported to police by the owner of the business who also provided investigators with a video surveillance of the incidents that took place around 2:30 a.m. last Tuesday.
Sadula wrote he responded to the call and noticed a man walking on West Ave. in the area of Tenth St. He called the suspect over and questioned him about damage done to a 2010 Ford, 2018 Chevrolet 2500, RV Fleedwood and a 2018 Chevrolet. Damage was also reported to a pole sensor.
Weaver was jailed and will face an appearance in General Sessions Court on the vandalism and other charges not listed in the report.
