Man allegedly points pistol during vehicle repo

OAKLAND — A Garrett County man was arrested Friday after he allegedly pointed a pistol at three people attempting to repossess his vehicle.
The Garrett County Sheriff’s Office said Michael Eric Paugh, 61, of Oakland was charged with first- and second-degree assault. He was being held Monday without bond at the Garrett County Detention Center.
The incident happened at a residence in the 3000 block of Maryland Highway, the sheriff’s office said.
