The Fairfield Glade Community Club recognizes five individuals for their service to the community. The FGCC awarded the citizens with the April service awards.
Jeremy Jones | Golf Course Pro for 20 Years | Manager Jeff Houston
Jeremy Jones started working 20 years ago for Fairfield Glade as the assistant golf professional at Heatherhurst. Over the past 20 years, he has become the head professional at Heatherhurst and Stonehenge as well as a highly respected rules official for our golf staff and the Tennessee PGA.
He has won numerous awards including the Tennessee Merchandiser of the Year for the Tennessee Section. Work is a small part of Jones’ life. When Jones is not at work you can find him with his family, wife Aily and daughter Hannah, being an avid outdoorsman or cheering on the Tennessee Volunteers. Jones is a very dedicated golf professional and a leader on our staff.
The FGCC said “Congratulations on your 20 years and here’s hoping you have another 20 years in you.”
Don Jackman | Lakes Patrol for 10 Years | Manager Sam McAdoo
Don Jackman celebrates 10 years as the Lakes Patrol for Fairfield Glade. He works very closely with the Lakes Consultant and the Bass Club in the performance of his duties.
He is always eager to help residents with anything related to the lakes. He maintains the buoys within the lakes and removes debris and animals that may have gotten into the lakes. He also manages the boat sticker and fish food programs.
Anytime he is needed, he is willing to lend a hand. He can be counted on to get any task completed in an expeditious manner.
The FGCC said, “Thank you, Don, for all you have done and continue to do.”

Dan Kisly | Equipment Operator for 5 Years | Manager Mark Knaebel
Dan Kisly has been with us at Heatherhurst maintenance for five years. He worked his way from a part time to a full-time equipment operator. Kisly brings a positive attitude and his fun personality to Heatherhurst every day. He has learned a lot about golf maintenance and has become an important member of our team.
The FGCC said, “We enjoy having Dan at Heatherhurst and will celebrate five years of great service with lots of cake and ice cream.”
Cary Clark | Pro Shop Attendant for 5 Years | Manager Rag Jones
Cary Clark was born in South Bend, IN, and grew up with a father who worked in radio. In his youth, Clark lived in 22 different towns/cities in his first 24 years as his father transferred from station to station.
Clark eventually called Nashville, TN, home. Clark took a great interest in his father’s profession which led to a 25-year career in television. He retired as a Production Engineer for WTVF, a CBS affiliate in Nashville.
During his career, Clark had many experiences. One that he is very proud of was when the Houston Oilers were coming to Nashville, he had the opportunity to work the games. He jumped all over it, as he has been a football fan his whole life. Then when the Titans (former Houston Oilers) went to the Super Bowl, Clark worked at the different playoff stadiums all the way to the Super Bowl. These are memories that always put a smile on his face, and he is still a season ticket holder.
During his career, Clark’s production team at WTVF was nominated for 12 Emmys and won six. He has been coming to Fairfield Glade to play golf for 40+ years before retiring here permanently in 2018. He was hired as a Pro Shop attendant at Druid Hills in 2019 and in his tenure has honed his skills.
He is very reliable, flexible, dependable and a great ambassador of Fairfield Glade. He always helps every customer to his fullest ability.
The FGCC said, “Thank you, Cary, for your dedication and we hope there are many more years to come.”
