VALDOSTA — Lowndes County will host the Lunch on the Lawn concert series on the lawn of the Historic Lowndes County Courthouse, 100 E. Central Ave.
This event, which is free and open to the public, features live performances from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, April 12, and Friday, April 26. Concert attendees may bring their lunch or purchase lunch and beverages from a restaurant in Downtown Valdosta.
This spring’s lineup features local musician Joe Smothers April 12 and Air Force veteran Zack Mannino April 26.
“Lowndes County is thrilled to host Lunch on the Lawn for our residents on the lawn of the Historic Lowndes County Courthouse,” said Meghan Barwick, Public Information Officer, Lowndes County. “It’s a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together, relax during their lunch break, enjoy great live music, and savor the beauty of our Historic Courthouse in the heart of Downtown.”
Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs and enjoy their lunch outside.
