LONDONDERRY — A 29-year-old Londonderry man was arrested Sunday in connection with the stabbing of two individuals outside a home on Chase Road.
Police were called to the home around 8:50 p.m. and found two victims outside the residence suffering from multiple stab wounds and lacerations, police said. Officers and bystanders rendered medical aid to the victims who were then transported to local area hospitals in serious condition.
While on scene, police learned that the suspect, later identified as Chandler Walden, was known to the two victims.
Officers found Walden at his home where he was taken into custody without incident.
He was charged with first-degree assault with a deadly weapon, domestic violence related; two counts of first-degree assault with a deadly weapon; second-degree assault with serious bodily injury, domestic violence related; two counts of second-degree assault with a deadly weapon; and two counts of attempted murder, felonies.
Due to the seriousness of the offense, members of the Detective Division responded and processed the scene.
Walden denied the services of a bail commissioner and was held at Rockingham County House of Corrections. He will be arraigned at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Derry District Court.
The incident remains under investigation.
