Two village trustees each in Barker, Middleport and Wilson were elected without competition Wednesday.
In Barker, incumbent trustees Val DiTommaso and Alexzander Detschner were elected to new two-year terms of office. On a total of 19 ballots cast, DiTommaso received 18 votes and Detschner received 16 votes, according to village clerk-treasurer Amanda Detschner.
In Middleport, incumbent trustee Kellie LePard was elected to a new two-year term with 24 write-in votes and William Kolek was elected with 41 votes. Kolek is taking the seat currently held by Renee Holly-Eberhard, who did not seek seek re-election. LePard was not listed on the ballot, because she failed to turn in a qualifying designating petition on time, so she undertook a write-in campaign. Also receiving one write-in vote each were Keri Pratt and Tom Conley.
In Wilson, newcomers Aaron Pringle and Bob Morgan were elected to four-year terms of office with 37 votes each. Current trustee Ellen Hibbard did not run for reelection, and the trustee post held by Greg Martin has been vacant since Martin was elected mayor in 2025. According to village clerk-treasurer Carey L. O’Connor, Hibbard and Ron Zito received one write-in vote apiece.
