Several local community-driven organizations, including groups in Niagara Falls and Lockport, will hold concurrent peaceful protests as part of the national “No Kings” movement on March 28.
Representatives from Main Street Movement, Northtowns RiseUp, StandUp Lockport, Springville Action, Batavia No Kings and Niagara Falls No Kings are calling on residents to “show up, speak out, and be heard,” to advocate for a more just and equitable community for all.
The “No Kings 3” day of action represents a continued effort to amplify the voices of local residents through organized civic action.
Among the day’s local demonstrations:
• Niagara Falls event — 1 to 3 p.m. at 3200 Pine Ave.
• StandUp Lockport Rally — 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at South Transit and Robinson roads in Lockport.
• Northtowns RiseUp Rally — Noon to 3 p.m. at the intersection of Niagara Falls Boulevard and Brighton Road/Maple Road in Amherst.
• Main Street Movement Rally — 1 to 3 p.m. in front of Amherst Town Hall, 5583 Main St., Williamsville.
