LE SUEUR — A Le Sueur man was sentenced in Le Sueur County District Court after being convicted on felony drug and firearm charges.
Raymond Lemonte Miller, 54, was convicted Aug. 4 of second-degree drug possession and illegal possession of firearms or ammunition. A first-degree controlled substance crime charge was dismissed.
Miller was sentenced to four years at the Minnesota Correctional Facility in St. Cloud, with the prison sentence stayed for five years, according to the sentencing order.
He was also ordered to serve one year in the Le Sueur County Jail, with about four months of credit for time served, and placed on supervised probation for five years.
The conviction follows the execution of a controlled substance search warrant in April 2024 at a Le Sueur residence where officers located Miller inside the home along with several other people, including one person who was found unconscious in a bathtub after reportedly using fentanyl, according to the criminal complaint.
Investigators reported recovering approximately 36 grams of suspected cocaine, about 4 grams of suspected fentanyl, small amounts of suspected methamphetamine, digital scales, packaging materials, cash and a 9mm handgun with magazines and ammunition.
Miller was reportedly prohibited from possessing firearms because of prior felony drug and crimes of violence convictions.
