A person struck by a train and killed Monday in Toomsuba has been identified, the Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department announced Wednesday.
Trevon Walker of Atlanta, Georgia, was walking along the railroad tracks shortly before 4 a.m. when he was hit by an eastbound train. He was not wearing any clothes at the time he was struck.
Deputies, along with Lauderdale County Coroner Stella McMahan, worked to identify the victim and notify the family.
