A bus trip from Crossville to Knoxville to see a Tennessee Lady Vols basketball game will benefit Girls Inc., a leadership organization equipping girls to reach their full potential.
The trip is planned for Feb. 13. Tip off for this game is set for 6:30 p.m. Eastern time in Knoxville.
Two 56-passenger motor coaches have been reserved to take fans to the game between two of the best known SEC teams in women’s basketball namely the Lady Vols and Auburn Tigers.
Cost of $100 per person includes transportation to and from the game, reserved seating in Thompson Boling Arena at Food City Center and a hot buffet meal at Calhoun’s on the River prior to the game.
Nicky Anosike, a former member of the Lady Vols basketball team, is Girls Inc. athletic director. She will be speaking at the dinner.
A few fun activities are planned during the trip to Knoxville; those attending are encouraged to brush up on their sports trivia.
Departure will be promptly at 12:30 p.m. CST Thursday, Feb. 13, from the Cumberland Worship Center parking lot located across from Buc-ee’s on Interstate Dr. Arrival back in Crossville should be around 8:30-9 p.m.
Payment is nonrefundable. Checks should be made payable to Luanne Brennan/Bus Trip and can be dropped off at Century 21 Fountain Realty at 3867 Peavine Rd. or mailed to Brennan at 3867 Peavine Rd., Crossville, TN 38571.
