BRUNSWICK — Tift County’s Lady Devils added another to the win column Thursday night, with a 64-46 score against Ware County.
Tift burst out of a 27-20 halftime lead to go up 50-35 after three periods over the Lady Gators.
Four players scored in double figures for the Lady Devils, with Jimmya Cushion leading the way at 24 points. Cushion hit six-three pointers for the contest, her hottest shooting game of the year.
Jalaya Miller and Caitlyn Burgess each scored 13 points and Faith Hillmon added 12. Even better for the Lady Devils, they went 5-of-7 at the free throw line. Burgess added a three to give Tift seven for the evening.
Tift was slated to take on 9-1 Bradwell Institute of Hinesville Friday afternoon and 9-3 North Paulding on Saturday afternoon.
