The Lady Bulldogs took to their new softball field Tuesday night for the first time as they hosted the Newton County Cougars.
Clarkdale softball has been without a home field for nearly two years after two tornadoes in 2022 damaged athletic facilities and school buildings on the campus.
The Lady Bulldogs played the 2023 season at nearby Aubrey Galyean Park as work to rebuild the school’s softball field was underway.
