Ladder rescue during Lawrence fire

LAWRENCE — Firefighters rescued a man from the third floor of a Victorian home during at 2-alarm fire Friday afternoon.
Flames were shooting out of the bottom left side of the home at 170 Salem St. when firefighters arrived just before 3 p.m. An ambulance was immediately called to the scene.
Mutual aid crews from Andover and Methuen are among those who assisted Lawrence firefighters Friday.
