North Andover’s Dom Pefine earned the Merirmack Valley Conference Division 1 Player of the Year recently as the baseball coaches met to honor the league’s finest performers of this spring.
Pefine, a lefty pitcher headed to Franklin Pierce, went 7-2 with a 1.26 ERA and 47 strikeouts in 50 innings.
Tewksbury junior Philip Lombardi was named the MVC D-2 Player of the Year.
