The Mass. State Track Coaches Kapelris Indoor Relays remain just a North Andover boys invitational, at least on the Division 2 level.
The Scarlet Knights rode a pair of sprint relay wins combined with a little flex in the field events, claiming their seventh straight MSTCA Indoor Relay title on Saturday at the Reggie Lewis Center.
The quartet of Ben Iglesias, Josh Quijada, Trevor Hunter and Ajanu Muzasadila rolled in the 4×50 relay, stopping the clock in 22.12.
North Andover also feasted in the shuttle hurdles with Nate Solivan, Aidan McGarry, Trey Kean and Santi Alvarez claiming the win in 26.74.
Almost as impressive was the Knight work in the shot put, where the “A” team and the “B” team were second and third, respectively.
Yes, North Andover went six deep with Kean leading the crew with a 46-3.25 heave. Ethan Jacques (45-11.25), Liam Toland (43-4.25), Adam Webster (43.25), Alex Phillips (42-1.5) and Thomas Lynch (39-2.5) all were rock solid.
Finally, it was the high jump team that grabbed third place.
Christian DeSousa (5-8), Tripp Dowd (5-8) and Sebastiano Catalano (5-5.75) did the work there.
